What is your cancellation policy?

Please give at least 24 hours' notice. Late cancellations and no-shows may be charged under our card-on-file cancellation protection.

Do you take a deposit?

No upfront payment is taken. We hold a card securely for cancellation protection only.

How long should my hair be?

Around 5mm — roughly the length of a grain of rice. If it is longer, we will trim it for you.

Do you use hard or soft wax?

Both. We select the most appropriate hard or soft wax technique for the area, your skin and your hair.

Can I be waxed during my period?

Yes, provided you are wearing a fresh tampon or menstrual cup. Skin can feel more sensitive at this time.

Can I be waxed while pregnant?

In most cases yes. Please tell us at booking so we can adjust positioning and technique.

Does medication affect waxing?

Accepted Answer

Some medications, including retinoids and roaccutane, mean waxing is not suitable. Please declare these on your consent form.

What should I avoid afterwards?

Heat, swimming, sunbeds, saunas, exercise and fragranced products for 24 to 48 hours.

Do you wax men?

Yes. We offer a full men's menu in the same private treatment room.

Is my booking confirmed straight away?

No. Bookings are submitted as requests and confirmed once your therapist has accepted them.

Should I exfoliate before my appointment?

Gently exfoliate two to three days before, but not on the day itself.

Will it hurt?

There is some sensation, particularly on a first visit. Our technique and pacing keep it as comfortable as possible.

What should I wear?

Loose, breathable clothing is most comfortable afterwards.
